I do not know who Charles R is (because everyone that steps foot onto the property must sign a release form. I suspect this is a review from a former client at the 9:30 am spot or from the former employees I let go due to constant tardiness, drama and lack of work ethic) but for those that would like to know...•The barn is in excellent condition & always has been. The horses are happy & healthy. Not a single horse is skinny, unhappy, overworked, stall bound, drugged nor gets injections- which most barns that teach, do. We are pro horse. That accomplishment takes education, experience & hard work. •I’ve leased this barn for 14 years & purchased it last year. I didn’t do this with my parents or inheritance. I did this ALL on my own. Not my husband, me. I pay for every single custom fitted saddle you/your daughter/son rides in, every soft as butter $600.00 plus bridle your hands hold, every single brush, repair, addition & horse. • It will never be a fancy barn with chandeliers & a long, wide isle way but the stalls are clean, the horses are fit & happy. The horses aren’t lessons horses but a step above that. They are all well educated, quality show horses, that show year round with my numerous committed riders. •The barn itself is solid, made out of rough hewn oak, so not smooth polished pine. The oak is sturdy & lasts. Fun fact- about 30 years ago the barn was set on fire by the live in help. It was minor but you can still see a sign of it today. The barn was built 35-40 years ago & had heat/ A/C throughout the entire barn. •Our horses enjoy daily turnout & we are in the midst of revamping fields as we do every year with the assistance of a professional. We see a difference already but it’s a multi year task. •The barn roof, siding & gutters are new. The stall mats were replaced & leveled. The stalls are bedded thickly. The exterior barn doors were replaced & upgraded. All security lighting was replaced. Plumbing has been upgraded. The arena lights were replaced & upgraded. Over 150 trees were cut down this spring. The driveway is upgraded. Over 80 fence posts were replaced in the last year. •We have top of the line feed & fantastic hay. Not a skinny horse here. Our horses see a Chiro/acu, massage & pemf therapist monthly. •The water heater is new, the bathroom is new, the arena footing is new bi annually, the jumps get fixed, repainted & replaced yearly. We have an auto fly spray system. We have coffee, tea, snacks, icees & spring water available to our riders. Carrots, apples & watermelon available to our horses & other animals. We have state of the art cameras. Old cameras were donated.• I let go of a contractor that had issues with not showing up for lessons. I gave them many passes & that is my fault. They had excuses that seemed plausible at the time until I looked back over 2 years of texts. I then realized the big picture. What can I say, I’m a true trainer & coach, I always see potential & they had it. •With over 45 years as a rider, competitor (that’s competed through some of the highest levels of this sport) trainer, owner, judge, clinician, agent etc I can say I’m very committed & serious, you have to be, to be doing it for this long. •Sometimes we just aren’t a fit for everyone. Once the two people left the atmosphere changed for the better. •I’m sorry if your experience was less than but it was rectified, on my end. I truly hope that one day someone gives your child the same grace I gave someone’s child. ? Honestly, two bad reviews from people that I don’t have release forms for in 15 years isn’t bad. •Being an ag business isn’t easy, esp in East Cobb. We’ve had special Olympics teams, donated to numerous schools and churches. We sponsor local shows with perpetual trophies and whatever else they need. We run a highly successful summer camp program that pays for summer camps for those that can’t afford it. •We allow anyone to call & come over & meet the animals. I sit on the board of two 501c3’s that help our community. I’m proud to be here and love to meet people. Jenn
