I thought it important to share with you what a fantastic job the teachers are doing through out this elearning process. We are very proud of Academy at the Lakes with how you and everyone else has handled the situation.

I feel like my son’s learning has not stopped and he is actively engaged in educational activities every day. It’s amazing how his teachers have developed lessons that not only teach but also have him outside, using multiple forms of technology, and developing his creativity. His third grade teachers have been easily accessible and offer feedback to him right away.

I've been going since Grade 7 and I've loved it more every year. The teachers care about every student and it shows in so many ways. Also, we are a community. We work together. We learn together. We prosper together. And I love how connected the school is, we have such events like house day and all-school assemblies where 1st graders and 11th graders can all cheer together and have fun!

I have to admit, I'm a picky person. We toured all the top rated private schools in Tampa area and decided on AATL.

Something I heard in common from different parents are their kids have been to different types of schools, even home schooling, once the kids attend AATL, they don't wanna leave anymore. I didn't quite understand why at the beginning till my son started Kindergarten in AATL. The tremendous amount of love and care the teachers give to my son makes a huge difference. He's thriving.

What sets AATL apart from other private schools is the family atmosphere, you can be assured your kids will be well loved and cared for, the kids MATTER here. The teachers are very professional and knowledgeable, not just academically, but developmentally as well. They notice the smallest thing of your child and they communicate with you, they just genuinely care about your kids.

AATL has exceeded my expectations in every way, same as the parents say in my son's class. Kindergarten teachers Ms Heidi and Lizzy are amazing, hands down the best teachers I've ever met. I'm very appreciative towards them and we're grateful that my son has the opportunity to attend AATL.

My experience with my son at Academy at the Lakes was really bad, the worse experience of our lives.
First of all his books for history and health classes were from 1995 and the rest of his classes didn't have books because " the school did not have money for new books" , really? don't have money for books, we paid $1000 for enrollment and books, so were is all the money for books going, surely for the head master , who drives a 2013 Cadillac !!!

One of his classes had 7 teachers during the year, that means that he almost had a different teacher every month, that is unacceptable for any school specially when you are paying such an outrageous amount of money which is almost the same as a private college?
After being in the school for 2 months we decided that the best thing to do was to change my son to another High School and when we sat down to talk to the Head Master and the High School Director guess what happened? they said that the agreement that we had signed states that we will be responsible for the tuition even if we pull him out, can you believe that ? what a scam !!!!!!
So my son had to stay in the school the rest of the year , what a terrible thing to do, but of course I understand why they do it? because if they didn't do that I guarantee you that 1/2 of the school will leave within the first 2 months of school.

They say they are a College prep school, what a joke, they are very far from that , imagine that they don't even have books !!!!!!
We do not recommend this school to anybody, we will like to go to the TV news with this story because surely we want to protect our community from scams like these.
