If there was a way to give a zero I would.
I really hope ARC takes a look at these reviews and provides her with some coaching and developmental guidance.

I can only imagine the pressure and stress that medical providers go through, but I’ve never felt like such a nuisance for simply asking basic questions to better understand clinical terms, next steps, etc. Medical providers can make or break the confidence or motivation that patients sometimes need when deciding to seek medical help. When you have a medical provider that doesn’t have empathy or patience, that not only impacts your reputation, but discourages patients from trusting providers.

My interaction with this provider made me feel like she was just tossing out clinical explanations but no helpful detail and she did not want to be bothered with explaining things to me. When I asked for a recap of some of the things she covered, I literally heard her sigh and give an irritated chuckle, while she covered things again, in the most annoyed and condescending tone.

There’s a part of me that was frustrated at myself for not calling her out on this kind of behavior - i’m a patient and should be an advocate for myself and for others! Just because she may be the medical “ expert” in the conversation doesn’t mean I can’t ask questions. I hope that ARC sees this review and can provide her with the feedback she desperately needs. I’m also glad to see that I’m not the only patient that feels this way. Historical reviews from this and other platforms over the last few years, show that she’s received other scathing reviews from several other patients.

Maybe it’s time to take a break Margaret, maybe you are burnt out or maybe you should seek a non-patient facing position. Not only are you doing patients a disservice, but you are also doing ARC a disservice by impacting their reputation.

Is she the PA? She did not introduce herself. She examined me and did not return to the room to explain my condition or explain why I was being referred to a specialist. She lacks compassion. Now I must wait two weeks with worry until I see the specialist. I have never experienced such lack of kindness and emotional care from a health care provider.

DEFINITELY do not recommend. She was very dismissive and impatient. I went in for an ENT referral and an allergy referral and she acted like I didn’t need both things. I had to confirm at the end that she was going to send both referrals because I do suffer from bad allergies, and I felt like my ears could use some cleaning. She had a little attitude and told me my “ears were clean” but why do my ears always feel clogged knowing my history of seasonal allergies. ? She rushed through the appointment, which mind you I thought was going to be at least 30-45 mins but it was only 15 minutes. The time includes the medical assistant doing my weight/height and vitals. Read the reviews before getting assigned to this NP. I love ARC at Far West but do not recommend Margaret.

Nice front desk staff. This provider confirmed it was my initial visit, but took no time to get to know me. Then she was short and, honestly rude, and not helpful when I couldn't remember a medication name. I can't imagine the effort I will need to put into building confidence with her.

Absolutely disgusting service from her. She looked at me and talked to me like I was an idiot. She asked me what I wanted her to do just as I had told her why I was seeing her. I cant tell you how to do your job i’m sorry that’s why i’m at the doctors office. No problem solving coming from her end despite me offering many pieces of information about my symptoms to help her help me. She rushed me in and out of the office. I have never had her talk to me about my symptoms for more than a minute. She did not listen to a word I said and I know this because I had to repeat myself a million times.

My provider addressed my issue with a plan and to follow up in the near future. She looked at my chart notes to make sure she covered everything before sending me to the lab to get blood drawn to further address my issue and concerns for the visit today.

Just landed her as my new doctor and I’m elated. Super nice bed manners and you can tell she cares. ARC is lucky to have her! Blake
