When I first moved to St. Louis, Maria did not include the proper information I needed to get my diabetes medication. The insurance was apparently under the impression that I was controlled and didn’t need insulin. A fact that I am still recovering from Two years later. And all her nurse wants to do is talk to me about the weight gain that I suffered because of not having my medication and sleeping 13 hours a day. She keeps wanting to talk to me about my diet. And doesn’t want to talk to me about the medication that need to be adjusted.
Now that I’ve had a pre-stroke. The neurologist won’t see me because none of the stroke symptoms are on my chart and since there’s a shortage of neurologist, there’s not enough information for me to be seen by one.
I’m gonna die before I get help I need because my charts are not accurately reflecting my actual conditions. I don’t think this is intentional. But if you have any serious medical conditions that require immediate help. I would recommend going elsewhere.

Maria is amazing. The best. She is very wise and will fight for you. She will spend time with you and listen to you. She is BOTH highly knowledgeable and empathetic. You won't have to sacrifice with Maria! She won't give up on you even if other docs have. Thank you, Maria!

Maria is absolutely wonderful. She will not stop until she finds out what’s making you sick. She’s helped me tremendously with managing diabetes and weight loss and also some gut issues. Don’t hesitate like I did. Call her and establish care today.

I have no idea why Maria only has one Google review. I have to this day never seen her supervising physician. First, under Corder and now under the current one. It's been years now. I am truly blessed to have such both an astute and compassionate nurse practitioner. I could not be blessed with better care.
